The trick with a really good electric vehicle chargepoint photograph is to get everything into a single shot. Paua customers regularly inform us that the best photos are the ones that provide the overall shot with everything in one image.Additional images of any specific features at this location can be useful. This can include details of screens or cables or any on site amenities. The team can set these as additional images once you upload themHowever the hero shot is always the image that provides the most information in one photograph. Here are 5 tips for getting the best photo of an electric vehicle chargepoint location
- Include the whole site and all the chargers in one image. We realise this is hard as some sites are becoming particularly large however you must remember that this one shot is intended to convey a lot of information
- Make sure to include as much of the marked bays as possible. This helps drivers assess the accessibility from a single image. Particulalry disabled drivers or van drivers.
- Where there are obvious wheel stops, bollards or curbs it is worth catching this in the same image
- If there are cars charging make sure to stand back from them show that they do not block the shot. Where possible avoid including number plates in the shots
- It is often useful to take the image from the road that approaches the charges so that a new driver knows what to look for. If you do step into the road please take care to make sure that you do not get in the way of oncoming traffic and remain safe at all times
Once you have taken your image remember to upload it to the Paua app. Click on the pin for your location and then click the camera image in the location details and add your image direct from your phone.
Whilst we love a blue sky image the reality is it isn't always perfect weather in the UK and therefore any picture is better than no picture. Night time images can look great. Please see a selection of images taken by our drivers that illustrate some good examples. GRIDSERVE Moto Scotch Corner
